Italian Prime Minister<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>I am writing you this letter on behalf of the International Federation of Iraqi Refugees (IFIR) regarding the&nbsp;boat carrying 57 passengers from different nationalities including Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Egypt that was rescued by the Egyptian Navy on the 23rd October 2020. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My name is Dashty Jamal and I am the Secretary of International Federation of Iraqi Refugees (IFIR).&nbsp; IFIR is&nbsp;a refugee, humanitarian, political and social organisation; we have organised a wide&nbsp;variety of activities in many European countries, Australia, Canada, Kurdistan and Iraq.&nbsp; For more than&nbsp;25&nbsp;years IFIR has&nbsp;helped Kurdish,&nbsp;Iraqi asylum seekers, and other refugees.&nbsp;IFIR also&nbsp;has good relationships with many refugee and political organisations.<br \/>I understand that you offered a place of safety to the Refugees in Italy.&nbsp; Unfortunately, Egypt is now threatening to turn the refugees from Iran over to the Iranian embassy.&nbsp; I ask that you contact Egypt offering to help the affected refugees.&nbsp; If these refugees are deported back to Iran the Iranian state will interrogate the refugees and execute them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IFIR urges that these refugees are treated fairly on&nbsp;a&nbsp;humanitarian basis whereby their rights are taken into consideration to provide them with safest possible solution to allow them to live a life of security and well-being.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ask that you contact the Egyptian authorities asking them to respect the right of the refugees and repeat your offer of a safe place for the refugees in Italy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Yours faithfully,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dashty Jamal&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><strong>General Secretary of International Federation of Iraqi Refugees -IFIR&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To&nbsp;Mr Guiseppe Conte&nbsp;&#8211;
