Muhammad Ahmad Father of the\u00a0children told IFIR by phone\u201d<\/span>I<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>fled from Kirkuk-North of Iraq on 10 of October with my family my wife and five children. We paid 12 thousand dollar and from Turkey Bodrum.\u00a0 We were placed on a small boat with 19\u00a0others\u00a0on the16 of October at\u00a010PM<\/span><\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Father also said \u201dThe Man who drove the boat, stopped the boat when we came close to Kos Island.\u00a0 As he stopped the boat\u00a0water flooded\u00a0in.\u00a0 We were 600 meter from the Island\u00a0the boat\u00a0sank\u00a0and my family were swept into the sea.\u00a0 They haven’t yet found the bodies of my wife and one child.\u00a0 The Greek police are still looking\u00a0for their bodies\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Dashty Jamal Secretary of the IFIR said\u201d This tragedy\u00a0is a\u00a0<\/span>direct result of the policy of closing the borders by EU countries.\u00a0 This has\u00a0forced many frightened people fleeing war to risk\u00a0their lives.\u00a0 This family\u00a0are victims of a Brutal war.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Dashty also said\u201d We believe that all EU Countries must\u00a0 deal with the humanitarian catastrophe facing Syria and Iraq. This phenomenon depends primarily on putting an end to the fighting and military involvement of all\u00a0forces including the US,\u00a0Russia and China.\u00a0 European countries\u00a0must give up the policy of supporting the repressive regimes which result in social unrest and insecurity\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n
