\u00a0<\/b>UKBA threatening to deport Abdull Motalib Nouri who has lived in the UK for 18 years<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Abdul Motalib Noori is being forcibly returned to Iraq by Royal Jordanian Airlines at 5pm, 2nd December 2018.\u00a0 Abdul has contacted IFIR from a van at Heathrow airport saying:<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u2018I have been living in the UK for 18 years and have 2 children\u2019 the girl is 1 years old the boy is 3 years old. We have been living In Bournemouth. Abdul Motalib also stated \u2018 I have been held for 6 weeks at Colenbrooke Detention Centre\u201d<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u201cOn the 27th October they attempted to forcibly deport me back to Iraq,\u00a0however this was luckily stopped halfway in Amman, and I was returned to the UK.\u00a0 The UKBA actions are not acceptable, they are playing with me and my family like a football, but we are human beings. I have been living in the UK for 18 years, but the UKBA are destroying my family\u2019s life by sending me back to a war-torn country. Action must be taken – the UKBA forcible Deportation policy must be abolished.\u2019<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0IFIR ask all Refugee and Human Rights Organisations to contact Royal Jordanian Airlines at Heathrow Airport to stop this deportation and all future deportation.<\/span><\/h3>\n

This month alone nine Iraqi Kurds have been forcibly deported to Baghdad. More than 30 Iraqis and Kurdish people have been arrested and are being held in different detention centres across the UK. Many of those held in the UK have been resident in the UK for ten to fifteen years and have UK wives, partners and children.<\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0These deportations follow a deal made between the Iraqi Government and UKBA. However following IFIR contacting Iraqi MP\u2019s on the 26 April 2017, 104 members of the Iraqi Parliament have signed a resolution to urge the federal government of Iraq to refuse to accept forcible deportation flights from Europe.<\/span><\/h3>\n

IFIR calls on all human and refugee right organizations, trade unions and freedom loving people to stop forcible deportations to Iraq and to not let the UKBA and Iraqi government play with the lives of Iraqi victims.<\/span><\/h3>\n
