Demonstration calling for an end to the Yazidi genocide

Kurdish and Middle Eastern Women’s Organisation organised a demonstration in Trafalgar Square on the 4 August – Humanity must speak up to stop the genocide of the Yazidi people.

Dashty Jamal IFIR Secretary made a speech about the genocide committed on the Yazidi people.  Dashty informed the demonstrators that 5,000 people have been murdered; a further 7,000 were taken as slaves.  The Yazidi genocide has resulted in 400,000 displaced people.  ISIL the perpetrators of this genocide are still active in Iraq.
