Wedat Hussein who was only 28 was murdered Saturday 13 August. Wadat was kidnapped and killed. His body was found in Sejey, in the Semell district of Duhok city.
The International Federation of Iraqi Refugees offers its sincere condolences to the people of Orlando following the attack on an LGBT night club earlier in the week. We stand shoulder to shoulder in solidarity with the victims and their families following this shocking terrorist attack.

In the name of the International Federation of Iraqi Refugees, I warmly welcome you to today’s Rally. I would like to thank you all, on behalf of the refugees for coming today to protest at their treatment and saying refugees are welcome here.
50 years ago the United Nations passed a resolution against racism the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Unfortunately today we still need to fight for equality and against the racist policies of detention and deportation of many European countries.
